Shepherd is getting cuter every day!

WOOF rescue dog Shepherd is thriving in his forever home. Here’s what his family had to say!

Day of Adoption ... 4-25-18.1.jpg

Happy New Year!  Hope all is well with you and family.

Shepherd is growing more adorable everyday, if that’s possible.  He is doing so much better with storms and rain.  He is growing into this confident young man and is bonding with Gracie so well.  They love hanging out and sitting next to each other.  I am so thankful that Shep came into our lives.  The second pic was taken two days ago while he was on his afternoon nap. How could this position even be comfortable?  This little prince has our hearts.

An Update on Biscuit the Traveler!

Handsome boy!

Handsome boy!

Our little Biscuit is doing great!! After 22 States, the 3 of us are nice and settled in Chico, CA. In fact, we just bought a house (and Biscuit a huge backyard), so we aren't going anywhere, anytime soon. He seems to love it here. So many parks and other dog friends to play with.

We are both still "head over heels" for our little guy. He is just the best dog. So smart. He knows the difference between his favorite toys. If we say "get your rope", he chooses his rope, etc. Right now he knows the difference between 3 toys, but we are working with him on more. If we could only get him to make our coffee in the morning!!

He isn't perfect....only 99% perfect. Here he is being a bad dog, but being really cute about it.

He LOVES opening gifts. Dives right into the bags and pulls out his toy/gift. It's pretty hilarious.

Happy New Year from Biscuit & his family!

Max's Journey to a Happy Home

Max 3.jpg
Max+2.jpg

Woof Rescue Dog Max was born in the Bronx and his original family always allowed him to go out and wander the streets by himself.  A man from Queens saw this happen whenever he was in the area, and after seeing Max nearly be hit by a car, he picked him up and took him to the owner, and asked if they would give him up.  They agreed, and the man took him with the hope of finding him a better life.  We got an email telling us about it and we took Max and put him up for adoption.

After being adopted in 2016, Max could not be happier in his forever home - and his family loves him to pieces! Here’s what Cynthia had to say:

Max is my bestest boy. He’s doing great. We stayed with my son and his family (and Violet, his dog) for a bit. Now we’re in New Mexico, where we have decided to settle.

Trixie and Her Beautiful Family!

Trixie was adopted from WOOF in August of 2018 and is now part of an amazing and loving family. Here’s what they had to say!

DWe both just marvel at how lucky we are to have the sweetest, nicest four legged companion in the world.   Attached is a picture of our family who are scattered around New York State. Only get to see them a few times a year but the pooches all get along.

Wishing you A Happy Healthy Peaceful Decade!

Jessie's Update - A New Beagle Brother!

Adorable basset hound Jessie found a beautiful new home after WOOF in 2016, and is loving life with her adopted brother! Here’s what her family had to say:

Jessie is doing great. In June we rescued a 12yr old beagle & as you can see from the photos he fits right in. They are buddies.

Jesse's health is good & had a good dental cleaning this year.  Thanks for all you do & we will always rescue as we can.

WOOF Rescue Quinn is living it up in the Netherlands!

We at WOOF were blown away by this update from rescue dog Quinn’s family!

Quinn is now a Dutch dog living in The Netherlands. She is doing very well, enjoying her new home. She is very popular with the Dutch people and they call her fluffy puppy.

She goes for long walks but when she gets tired we push her in her buggy.

This is a very dog friendly country so she is welcome everywhere, on trains and in stores.

She is very happy.

Jax is Happy and Healthy!

We were so happy to receive an update from Jax’s (formerly Barkley’s) family! Such good news.

“He is doing amazing!!!!  He is eating, and drinking, and playing!  Still cautious with my mom and dad, but he lets them pet him.  And he is also playing a bit with them.  He is totally attached to me, and slept on David last night.  We love him so much and are so happy with his progress!  Thank you for giving him to us; we adore him.  He even loves belly rubs now.”
