Kirby is Thriving in His New Home
Kirby’s new family sent the following update: Socially he has made great improvement. He has had lots of interaction with people in the building and in the neighborhood and now is pretty comfortable around everybody. They all want to pet him and he's OK with that. Maybe it's because he's so cute! He is our happy, playful, sweet boy. I am amazed at how attached he is, how easily he fit into our lives, how openly he demonstrates affection. We adore him. We send you blessings for the beautiful work you do for these lucky animals and the people you bring into their lives!
An Update From Tucker's Family
Tucker's mother Nancy reports that he is thriving in his new home. This spiffy fellow celebrated his one year adoption anniversary with an annual check-up and teeth cleaning.
Eden: One Year After Adoption
Eden's new mother, Rebecca, sent this update to WOOF:
"Tomorrow will have been one year since you helped me adopt my baby girl, and I am so happy for every minute with her. Who wouldn't love that smile?!"
Cooper: Love At First Sight
Cooper's foster Judy became so smitten with him that she decided to adopt him. Judy told us that “Almost as soon as I took Cooper in as a foster I knew he was the cat for me and that I was the mom for him. He’s so very sweet, and all he wants is to give and receive love. Oh ... and he wants his food ... A LOT and NOW!! Thank you Woof Rescue for allowing me to keep Cooper close to my heart forever.”
JoJo found a loving home
After JoJo's first day in his new home, new parent Jenifer wrote to WOOF saying, "Jojo is adapting beautifully already, he's such a smart boy!! Thank you again, he and I are going to do great together. "
Ellie is thriving with her new family.
One year after adoption, WOOF received the following update: Ellie has really blossomed in the last year, she loves routine and rules and especially when she understands words, making it easy and fun to train her. She is unbelievably smart, it's crazy. One funny quirk is how much she loves pillows and blankets. She cannot sleep flat, she has to sleep with her head on a pillow like a person, and loves to be tucked in with a blanket. We are so grateful to you all and Megan and Thomas for rescuing her, we talk all the time about how we couldn't have ended up with any other dog than her.

QUINN Enjoying an Autumn Stroll
From his new Family:
Quinn is doing great. He has settled into our routine or should I say we have settled into his.
He is gained some weight and he is sporting his winter coat. He spends his days with Mike in his home office and is never lonely. He loves his walks and thinks he is a German Shepard to the other dogs in the neighborhood. He is very protective of his new family.
Needless to say we are loving him and I think the sentiment is mutual.
Butch - Now KIRBY - Settles into his New Home
Kirby is doing very well. He is still cautious with strangers and nervous in new situations, but I am certain he will eventually let go of all those fears as he grows more and more comfortable in his new environment.
Our wonderful boy is very affectionate and follows us around everywhere. He has already become an integral part of the family. Lucky him and lucky us!
Shadow & Sheba Adopted TOGETHER!
